Chinese equestrian Liu Shuqin was presented with an Akhal-Teke horse named Dosthan

Based on the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, President of the International Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding Association Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, in recognition of his work in breeding Akhal-Teke horses, increasing their number, and popularizing the art of Turkmen horse breeding worldwide, presented Liu Shuqin, a bay Akhal-Teke horse named Dosthan, born in 2023, and a certificate for the horse, to a member of the Association, head of the equestrian company "Daqing Huiyou Breeding Co., Ltd." of the People's Republic of China. As reported in the "Watan" news program, the Chinese guest said that it was a great honor for him to visit the homeland of the Akhal-Teke horses, meet with Hero Arkadag, and present the world's horse breeders with Akhal-Teke horses, which has become the dream of world horse breeders. He also proudly reported that his company has 1,200 horses, of which more than 600 are Akhal-Teke horses.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people won the wedding race among master jockeys.

A wedding procession was held among the country's master horsemen, following ancient national traditions, to mark the commissioning of the 1,200-horse Akhal-Teke horse herd of the President of Turkmenistan. As reported in the "Watan" news program, a total of 7 master riders from the provinces of the country, the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag participated in the wedding race. The horse that entered the race from the city of Arkadag was the horse number 7 named Daghan, and it was one of the proud events that the National Leader of the Turkmen people rode on it. Kerimguly Berdimuhamedow, who is currently serving in the cavalry unit of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan, skillfully trained the beautiful Akhal-Teke horse named Daghan and prepared it for the wedding race. In the wedding race among master riders, the first place was won by Gahryman Arkadag with his horse Daghan. The winner was awarded a sports car of the "Range Rover" type. At that moment, according to the message received from the National Leader of the Turkmen people, the Shah Serpay, awarded to the winner of today's halipa race, was ordered to be transferred to the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan, namely to the military unit where Sergeant Kerimguly Berdimuhamedow serves. The second place in the wedding race was taken by a horse named Shohratly. The rider was Toyly Pirmyradov from Ashgabat. The winner was awarded a Toyota Fortuner. In the wedding race among master jockeys, the third place went to the horse Azamat from Akhal province. Its rider was Ashirov Khudaiberdy. The winner was awarded a Toyota Camry car.
