On the occasion of the National Day of the Turkmen Horse, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow was presented with a wonderful horse named Gozbaş on behalf of the residents of Ahal Velayat, Sumbar on behalf of the residents of Balkan Velayat, Shabat on behalf of the residents of Dashoguz Velayat, Jeyhun on behalf of the residents of Mary Velayat, Nisa on behalf of the residents of Ashgabat, and Mertebeli on behalf of the residents of Arkadag. The winners of a creative competition in honor of the Turkmen Horse Day were announced in Ashgabat.
Celebrations to mark the National Turkmen Horse Day were held at the Ashgabat Equestrian Center, attended by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov. During the ceremony, the winners of the creative competition for the best artistic expression of the beauty and natural charm of horses were announced. The best works were determined in several categories: carpet and jewelry, painting and sculpture, as well as publishing products, photographs, and television stories.
