The President of Turkmenistan awarded five citizens the honorary title of Honored Horse Breeders.
Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree conferring the honorary title "Türkmenistanyň at gazanan atşynasy" (Honored Horse Breeder of Turkmenistan) on five citizens, TDH reported. The honorary title was awarded to the groom of the equestrian sports and equestrian tourism department of the International Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex of the State Association "Türkmen atlary" Rejepmukhammet Gylydzhov, as well as four private horse breeders - Ataberdi Borjakov, Byashim Byashimov from Ashgabat, Orazdurdy Orazmyradov from the Balkan velayat and Hemra Rejepov from the Dashoguz velayat.

An international conference on Akhal-Teke horse breeding was held in Ashgabat.
The 18th International Scientific Conference "The Turkmen Horse and the World Art of Horse Breeding" was held at the S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University, timed to coincide with the National Turkmen Horse Day, TDH reported. Before the conference, participants viewed an exhibition dedicated to Akhal-Teke horses, featuring works of fine and decorative art, carpets, jewelry, and photographs.

Horse races were held in Turkmenistan in honor of the Turkmen Horse Festival.
Long-distance equestrian endurance competitions were held in the Ak Bugday district of Turkmenistan's Ahal province to celebrate the National Turkmen Horse Day, according to the Turkmenistan newspaper. Fifteen Akhal-Teke horses aged 6 to 11 years and their riders took part in the competition. The 60-kilometer race began at kilometer 24 of the Ashgabat-Mary highway. Participants included horses from the Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex of the President of Turkmenistan, the International Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex, the National Equestrian Center, the Aba Annayev International Equestrian Academy, and private horse breeders.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the People's Council Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, during his visit to the United States, visited the equestrian complex La Victoria, which is considered one of the largest in the country, and discussed the prospects of Turkmen-American cooperation in the field of horse breeding and equestrian sports.
