day, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in festive celebrations held at the Ashgabat Equestrian Center to mark the 35th anniversary of the country's independence, TDH reports .
Participants in the celebration included the Chairman of the Mejlis, members of the Government, heads of ministries and departments, public organizations, media outlets, as well as heads and representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in our country.
As soon as the President of Turkmenistan took his seat in the stands, the festive horse races began. Seven races of various distances took place that day. In the first 1,600-meter race for three-year-olds for the Financial and Economic Complex of Turkmenistan Prize, the bay stallion Nyazli, owned by the Berkararlyk etrap administration of Ashgabat, crossed the finish line first. He completed the race in 1 minute 51.8 seconds. Jockey P. Orazov, trainer V. Gayipov. The winner received a cash prize of 100,000 manat.
In the second race over a similar distance, also among three-year-old horses, for the National Oil and Gas Complex Prize, the bay-colored horse Aiyildyz, owned by the Ashgabat City Administration, finished first, finishing the distance in 1 minute 51.4 seconds. Jockeyed by Sh. Saryyev, trained by Kh. Gubayev. The winner received a cash prize of 100,000 manat.
In the third race, three-year-old horses competed over a distance of 1,800 meters for the Turkmenistan Trade Complex Prize. The best result—2 minutes 5.2 seconds—was achieved by the bay stallion Bendesen, owned by the Bäherden Stud Farm of the Türkmengaz State Concern. The jockey was Y. Allanazarov, and the trainer was Honored Horse Breeder of Turkmenistan D. Muratgulyev. The winner received a cash prize of 100,000 manat.
In the fourth race, horses aged four years and older competed over a distance of 1,800 meters for the prize of the Transport and Communications Complex of Turkmenistan. After a close race, the bay horse Gyonibek, owned by the Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex of the President of Turkmenistan, crossed the finish line first in 2 minutes 4.6 seconds. Trained for this competition by trainer and master jockey of Turkmenistan O. Annalyev, the jockey was S. Charyev. The winner received a cash prize of 100,000 manat.
In the fifth race of the festive event, four-year-olds and older competed over a distance of 1,800 meters for the prize of the Construction and Industrial Complex of Turkmenistan. The chestnut-colored horse Maksatly, owned by the Ashgabat city administration, finished first, covering the distance in 2 minutes 3.5 seconds. Trained by third-category horse coach R. Seyidov, the jockey was the skilled rider R. Seyidov. The winner received a cash prize of 100,000 manat.
In the sixth race, horses aged four years and older competed over a distance of 2,200 meters for the prize of the country's Agricultural Complex. The bay horse Gudratlydag, owned by the Türkmennebit State Concern, emerged victorious, finishing in 2 minutes 31.5 seconds. Trained by master horse trainer G. Agamyradov, and jockeyed by master rider T. Babayev, he received a cash prize of 100,000 manat.
In the final, seventh race, horses aged four years and older competed over a distance of 2,200 meters for the Grand Prize of the President of Turkmenistan. After a close battle, the bay-colored horse Bezirgen, owned by the Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex of the President of Turkmenistan, crossed the finish line first. He completed the race in 2 minutes 33.8 seconds. His trainer was Honored Horse Breeder of Turkmenistan M. Agamyradov, and his jockey was Master Rider B. Agamyradov. The winner received a cash prize of 300,000 manats and the President of Turkmenistan Challenge Cup.
