Large-scale ceremonial events dedicated to the triumph of the Galkynyş National Equestrian Games Group of the Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex of the President of Turkmenistan at the prestigious International Circus Arts Festival in Monte Carlo were held in the city of Arkadag, TDH reports.
The celebration began on the city square in front of the Akhan monument with performances by artists. Then a ceremonial procession took place along the main avenues of the city, led by riders with the State Flag of Turkmenistan and the UN flag. The culmination of the event was a ceremony at the State Equestrian Circus named after Gorogly.
During the celebration, the Galkynyş group was awarded high awards. On behalf of the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, the team was awarded a cash prize of 17 thousand euros, and from the President of the country - 3 million manats. In addition, the group's leader Serdar Pygyyev was awarded the honorary title of "Türkmenistanyň at gazanan atşynasy" (Honored Horse Breeder of Turkmenistan - ed.).
The event ended with a demonstration performance by the "Galkynyş" group, which demonstrated unique tricks of national equestrian circus art, as well as a concert of the country's masters of art.
