As we previously reported, on April 27, festivities were held in Arkadag city, at the International Akhalteke Equestrian Sports Complex, to mark the national holiday of the Turkmen horse. A total of 7 horse races were held here at various distances, and dozens of horses participated in them and showed their best results.

According to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan, the first race was held at a distance of 1400 meters for the prize of the financial and economic complex of the country. In it, the first place was taken by a bay horse named Babadash from the Akhalteke equestrian complex of the President of Turkmenistan. His rider was R.Agamyradov.

In the second race, the distance was also 1400 meters. In this race, the horses competed for the prize of the oil and gas complex. In it, the first place was taken by a bay horse named Goar II from the State Enterprise "Forestry" of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan. His rider was O.Amangeldiev.

In the third race, the horses competed for the prize of the trade complex at a distance of 1600 meters. In the tight race, the horse named Yagmyrly from the "Turkmenavtoulaglary" agency, ridden by D. Azadov, won.

In the fourth race, the horses competed for the prize of the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers at a distance of 1600 meters. In it, the chestnut horse named Gazanar from the Prosecutor General's Office of Turkmenistan was the first to cross the finish line. His rider was a third-class rider Y. Saparov.

The fifth race was held to win the prize of the construction and industrial complex. Among the horses competing in the 1600-meter race, the horse named Shagirt II from the Akhalteke Horse Complex of the President of Turkmenistan was the first to cross the finish line. His rider was S. Chariev.

In the sixth race, four-year-old and older horses competed for the prize of the agricultural complex at a distance of 1800 meters. In it, the chestnut horse named Gudratlydag from the "Forestry" State Enterprise of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations was the first to cross the finish line. His rider was D. Berdimammedov.

In the final, seventh round of the 1800-meter race for the main prize of the President of Turkmenistan and the Cup of the Turkmen Republic, the winner was the Akhalteke horse named Bezirgen from the Ahalteke equestrian complex of the President of Turkmenistan. His rider was the master rider B.Agamyradov.

Then, a ceremony was held on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to award valuable gifts to the winners of the festive horse races, as well as the previously held long-distance horse riding competition and the horse jumping competition.

In the show jumping competition, the horse named Altynkhan took first place. His rider was Y.Chopanov.

After the awarding ceremony for the winners of the long-distance horse riding competition and the show jumping competition, a ceremony was held to award the winners of the festive horse races held on the day of the celebration of the national holiday of the Turkmen horse. They were awarded valuable gifts, large cash prizes, and diplomas. In addition, the winner of the final race was awarded the portable Cup of the President of Turkmenistan and a large cash prize.
